How to load the Bridge calendar into your personal calendar?
Options:
- Single event - You can copy events to your calendar. Click on the event in the calendar and follow the steps.
- Programme for specific day - You can load up the entire bridge club programme for specific days e.g. the programme for all Tuesday games. Select the files you want download. follow the instructions below.
- Full programme - You can load up the entire bridge club programme.
Instructions:
Step 1 : Download the Bridge calendar to your computer
- From the list of files below, hover over the file that you want to download.
- Right click and a menu will appear
- Click on the "Save link as.." option.
- Select the location where you want the file to be saved
- Press the 'Save' button.

NOTE: If you load up the "All days" file, please don't download the other daily files, ortherwise you could end up with duplicate calendar entries
Step 2 : Upload the Bridge calendar to you google calendar
- Clicking the link calendar.google.com . This will open a new browser page showing your Google Calendar. (If you are not logged into Google, you will be asked to logon.)
- Click on the Settings menu, which is a wheel-cog icon that you will see on the top right of the screen. A drop-down menu will appear.
- Click on "settings".
- Then click on "import/export", which is on the left hand menu options - it's about halfway down the list.
- Then in the Import section, click on 'Select file from your computer"
- Locate the file you downloaded in Step 1 and press 'Open'.
- You will get you get a message confirming the number of calendar entries loaded.
NOTE - if you upload files multiple times, you could get duplicates. You will need to delete the entries from your calendar one at a time.
Step 3 : View your calendar entries
- From your Google calendar, you can view the Bridge Programme calendar events.
- You can modify or delete these entries to suit yourself.
- You can add in extra details such as the name of the person you are playing with on any given day.
